About Sara Modj., Stylish Design Founder
Stylish Design was founded by Sara Modj, whose journey into design began with an unexpected turn. At the age of 18, she was expected to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a physician. However, her true passion led her down a different path one rooted in creativity, functionality, and the art of design.
Sara began her post secondary studies in Industrial Design at IUST, where she earned her Master’s degree while simultaneously working as a product designer for major manufacturers of furniture, cabinetry, and lighting fixtures. During those fascinating years, she was involved in numerous interior and architectural design projects, which deepened her interest in the architectural field. Motivated by this growing passion, she returned to academia and earned a second Master’s degree in Architectural Design.
Stylish Design: Creativity and Technical Expertise
After years of experience working across diverse design industries, including lighting, millwork, building construction, architectural firms, furniture manufacturing, and metal fabrication and through working closely with a variety of materials such as wood, metal, plastic, and masonry, Sara decided to focus her career on interior design and building renovation.
Alongside her professional practice, Sara also shared her knowledge and industry experience as an instructor in Architecture and Design schools, mentoring aspiring designers and helping them bridge the gap between creative vision and real-world construction, from form to functionality.
Today, Stylish Design combines creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of materials to deliver spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
